Professional Experience:

I was lucky. I started playing seriously at age 11 and I started making money at age 11. I played 6 nights a week for decades and was able to make a living as a musician. I toured all over the United States and Canada, played concerts in front of thousands of people, recorded and played live on radio and TV. Now, I own a music store and help others pursue their dreams of playing an instrument. You never know where an instrument will take you. Work hard and you will enjoy playing your instrument the rest of you life. You may write songs, record in a recording studio, perform in front of thousands of people, teach others or perhaps just sit in your room and play for your own enjoyment. Best of all, I enjoying going to work every day. I get to be around beautiful guitars, great musicians and great customers and friends.

How You Got Started Playing:

I started playing at age 7 and quit after about 4 months. For me, age 7 was just too young. I would rather be outside playing baseball. Then, one day, at age 11, I was riding home on the school bus and a friend said hey! you have a guitar don't you? I said yes but I really can't play it. He said that's ok; we'll learn to play, start a band and be like the Beatles. I said ok I am in. I have been playing guitar ever since.
